A Scottie Christmas

Scottie Tree

You knew I would have a Scottie Christmas tree didn't you? What is Christmas without a little whimsy added in? It has taken a while for me to accumulate Scottie ornaments but the tree is beginning to fill out.

Scottie Tree

You do know there's such a thing as Scottie angels, right? Of course there are.

Scottie Angel

We'll have three Scotties under roof for Christmas when grand-Scottie Miss Maggie Magnolia Misteltoe comes this Friday with my son Michael. That's what I call her because she was born on Christmas day in the South. It will be a wild time. All the dogs are hoping Santa will bring them new Super Balls for playing soccer.

I've received some wonderful Scottie cards over the year, too. See those tiny Scotties on the snow in front of the White House? Those are first Scotties Barney and Miss Beazley. Did you know Barney has his own website and stars in a Christmas video at the White House each year? Look on the right side of the page to find the new video, plus an archive of all the previous ones. They are always so cute.

Scottie Oranment

For any Scottie die-hards stopping by, I have a few more ornaments posted in my flickr Christmas album. We all want to wish you a Merry Christmas. No animals were harmed in the making of this video ;-) I hope you enjoy and thank you again for stopping by, my friends.

Warmest regards,
Lallee

Wow! I'll have to show my daughter this post, what a sight! She will be soooo delighted, she loves anything doggie. I love Scotties too, but my top dream dog is a Westie. I've just started a collection of Westie ornaments. Maybe one day I'll have a Westie tree and Westie Christmas stuff, haha! I love the whimsy side of it as well.

I just read your profile and discovered your name is pronounced "lolly". Did you know "lolly" means "candy" in Australia? What a sweet name you've got.

I LOVE all your Scottie ornaments and cards...they are the cutest of dogs...they really each have such individual personalities....I love the fact that you call your "granddog" Miss Maggie Magnolia Mistletoe"...that sounds like something I would do...I have grand-dogs, too...and of course I have to give them a longer much more Southern name...there is Corie...who for some reason I call Corie Bean (don't know where/how I came up w/that)...she's a hoot! And then there is the every so sweet Corrina...I call her Corrina Rina (yea...I know, original, huh??)...my kids and others think I'm a bit daff...but what the hey...they are after all my grand-dogs!

Enjoyed all of your Christmas splendor....have fun with the 3 lovelies at Christmas!

Blessings...
Teresa

Merry Christmas to you and your family and, of course, the Scotties.

You'd like the seven-foot Scottie tree we have in our photography studio. Not to mention the gift box that is motion-activated and has two scotties barking Christmas carols!

I've been owned by the breed for 26 years, and am the owner of the Angelscot group on Yahoo. Come check us out!
