I promised you I was still into colors, so let me show you that I speak the truth. See the gorgeous Heather Bailey fabrics hanging there in the studio? They are part of my birthday present last month. I've had my eye on them for a year and marked in my favorites on Etsy. So, when Mr. H asked for present ideas.......I was ready with an answer. I need your help though. I want to make pillows for myself and I haven't sewn in like forever.
I have scissor fear and don't want to make a mistake.
Would you come hold my hand while I make my first cut??????

If that's not enough color explosion for you, keep reading. How about some living color thrift finds? Two crochet afghans for example. Then I found this beauty for only $2.00. Both afghans washed beautifully. You know I drew to this one like a magnet when the RED caught my eye. I spread it out on the bed so you could have a full look.
Chelsea approves.
A vintage needlepoint cottage from Etsy is next. The top section is a little dirty looking--your thoughts or suggestions on washing it? I'm thinking cold water soak in Woolite. It's my kind of colors!
Look at this adorable cupcake plate from Marshalls. Fun colors and cute!

Speaking of cupcakes, my Cherry Delight Cupcake will be debuting in my Etsy shop today.
Was that enough color for you? Great. Now come over and hold my hand while I cut that fabric!

Adorable finds! You know I love the bright colors too, the red afghan is my favorite and those Heather Bailey fabrics are so beautiful! I'll be watching to see if you get suggestions on washing the needlepoint as I found an old one too and not 10 minutes ago was wondering how they are cleaned!
Lallee, I would love to come by to hold your hand while you cut! The thrifting finds are lovely indeed but you cupcakes are far too cute. I am heading over to your etsy store now in hopes you have patterns for sale. ~Kelly

Pillows are fairly easy to make, after you make that first cut, and sew one up, you'll have your confidence back! Love that fabric!

Laura, What a fun post today. My husband has begun to say to me, "Where on earth are you putting all of these things you bring home?" Men just don't understand the process! Everything you got today says "Take me home!" And your sea shell show and tell is beautiful! I hope you will peek in on Georgia Peachez's mantle that she made. I can see you making one for your bathroom as well. So many inspiring things to take away with me. As always, the most wonderful place to visit! E
Gorgeous fabric. Beautiful colors. Mimi

Oh Lallee, we love the same colors, that's for sure! I'm crazy about that Heather Bailey fabric, too, and can understand why you'd hesitate to cut into it.
