Did you have a good 4th of July? Ours was very low key. I stayed in my pajamas most of the morning watching a movie and crocheting. Lots of bright colors and sweet purring company. Miss Chelsea Ann Babycakes was very aloof when we came home from vacation. I was so pleased that she has returned to her snuggly silly self now. I was missing times like this with her.

How fun to sit back in your pj's and just crochet. That is wonderful!
Love the flowery motif you made for the pillow! Very cheery!

What an adorable pillow, Laura!! You have the perfect princess to help you out, I see! You are just so crafty and have the knack to pull all of those vibraint colors to look so fabulous. This would make a cool tote or blanket, too!
love you oodles and bunches,
becky
It looks great with the green polka dot fabric. Have fun at Joanns They always have the sweetest fabrics.

Our 4th was very low-key too. Some working in the yard, running a few errands.....
It's funny how our pets "punish" us for leaving them by being aloof, but it doesn't take them long to forgive us.

Our turned into a four day event and I am so tired today. That's why I am sitting here looking at that pretty crochet start to your pillow instead of doing something constructive...like study!
Love the pillow! Our 4th was low key too. Parade and a cookout for just us and a friend. In bed by 10:30 because I was just too tired to stay up for fireworks.
Hi Lallee,
I had a low key 4th too! I love the pillow top, the colors are beautiful, and it looks great on the polka dot fabric, I am sure you will find the perfect fabric to coordinate. Your little crochet helper is growing so quickly!

I love the crochet and the kitty looks too sweet! ~Kelly

LOVE the crocheted flowers!! I wish I could do this. Not sure how to learn...
Our cats were the same way when we came back from vacation.
Especially our Storm (whom we had to have put to sleep two years ago now after having a stroke at age sixteen).
We always say she thought she was queen of the domain and she didn't give us her permission to go away. :)
Sasha (her litter sister) doesn't seem to mind too much as long as we don't wake her up from her nap coming and going. She looks a lot like your kitty. :)
LOVE it Laura!
And look at cutie-patootie Chelsea!
xo,
Kim
