Update Wednesday: Wonderful news! Malaya's surgery is over and both procedures on her heart were successful. She will be in ICU for a couple of days and hopefully back home in a week. The parents gave permission for a video of her surgery to be shown on Youtube. The doctor, Redmond Burke, already has several posted there. I told my sister she will be a little movie star. LOL Of course, all you would be able to see was her little beating heart. Amazing huh? Thank you so much for your prayers!*********************************
I originally posted about my great-niece Malaya Rose here. Today she sees the surgeon and if all is well then she will have surgery tomorrow (Wednesday) at 6:00 AM. She will have a hole in her heart repaired along with some work near a heart valve. Would you join me in praying for her well being and successful surgery? Also, please pray for God's peace for the family as they wait and to know God's abiding love for them. The family is most apprecitive of your prayers. I'll update this post when the surgery is completed tomorrow.

What a precious baby! I know that God will hold her close and be with the surgeons as they restore her to good health. I pray also that the family knows God's peace and can rest in his comfort.
WE have a special 'heart baby' in our family...she's survived 3 major heart surgeries and she's my hero...she's not even 3 yet!

What a beautiful baby girl...I laid on hand on her little picture and pray a prayer for her and the family. I'm trusting God heard and all goes well for this precious dear one...the faces of the angels are always before the throne on behalf of the little ones.
